Pavli Serenetsky is an artist, environmentalist, and educator, who makes films and books.
They currently work at The Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains and are the co-founder of Purpose Repair Shop. Their films and ecological initiatives include the features More Beautiful Perversions (2025) and Firstness (2021), shorts All Dreams Take Place in the Parking Lot (2022) and Streakers (2019), and the day-long 86,400 Seconds (2018). They have exhibited at the MoMA, Outfest, Atlanta Film Festival, Chicago Underground, NewFest, AIFVF, Portland International, Tacoma Film Festival, and have published books with Featherproof Books and Thoughtcrime Press. Pavli likes to spend most of their time walking and filming old trees on 16mm.
